RAINSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 3 -- Northeast Alabama Community College issued the following news release:
I have just returned to my office from visiting some of the 260+ evacuees who fled Hurricane Gustav, seeking shelter on our campus at Northeast Alabama Community College-a temporary home until safe to return to theirs. Northeast, along with the institutions in the Alabama Community College System, was named as one of the evacuation shelter sites following the destruction of Hurrican . . .
