CAMP DENALI, Alaska, June 20 -- The Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs issued the following news release:
Sixty-one years ago more than 6,600 Alaskans volunteered to serve in the Alaska Territorial Guard and on 13 June eight of those members were officially recognized in Nulato, Alaska.
