PEMBROKE, N.C., March 5 -- The University of North Carolina-Pembroke issued the following press release:

Year-to-year retention of freshmen at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke improved in the latest report, Jackie Clark, vice chancellor for Enrollment Management, told the Board of Trustees during their meeting on February 28.
