CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, April 3 -- Kirkwood Community College issued the following news release:
For only the second time in 120 years, the Iowa Academy of Science will meet on a Community College Campus. On April 11-12, the public is invited to Kirkwood Community College to attend the meeting, which will feature numerous science events. The free events are sponsored in part by the Mel Oliven Lecture Series at Kirkwood. All of the seminars will be held in Ballantyne Auditorium in Iowa . . .
