DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 21 -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
More than 2.5 million Iowans served by public water supplies received safe drinking water in 2007, according to an annual DNR compliance report presented to the Iowa Environmental Protection Commission on Aug. 19.
