OKANOGAN, Wash., Aug. 29 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Okanogan National Forest - issued the following press release:
Early in September, logging is scheduled to begin in the Eightmile Creek drainage of the Methow Valley Ranger District. The fuels reduction work is being done as part of the Eightmile Project.
