RALEIGH, N.C., July 10 -- Gov. Mike Easley, D-N.C., issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, 2008 marks the 2nd Annual celebration of the international Take a Child Outside week, sponsored by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences; and
WHEREAS, Take A Child Outside week is a program designed to help break down obstacles that keep children from discovering the natural world, and to provide parents, teachers and other caregivers with resources and recreation . . .
