TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 22 -- The Florida Department of Elder Affairs issued the following news release:
The cities of Freeport and Paxton became Florida's newest additions to the Department of Elder Affairs' Communities for a Lifetime initiative. Under the leadership of Mayor Mickey Marse of Freeport and Mayor Wanda Smith of Paxton, both city commissions passed designated resolutions on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
