PARIS, Aug. 13 - The government of France issued the following news release:
As President of the European Union, Nicolas Sarkozy travelled to Russian and then Georgia on 13 August to present a peace plan for South Ossetia. The two countries agreed to the plan proposed by the French President.
While the region remains subject to tension between Georgia and Russia and the conflict has worsened over the last few days, Nicolas Sarkozy, negotiated the terms for a ceasef . . .
