ELMIRA, N.Y., Aug. 20 -- Chemung County issued the following press release:
The Chemung County Health Department today issued an update concerning the legionella illnesses which have been linked to Edward Flannery Towers in Elmira. The number of confirmed cases linked to the housing complex is nine. The ninth case was reported to the Health Department prior to infection control measures being implemented at the Towers on August 15 and was confirmed today.
