WASHINGTON, Aug. 30 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following press release:
The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced that federal aid has been made available to supplement state and local response efforts due to the emergency conditions resulting from Hurricane Gustav beginning on August 28, 2008, and continuing.
