LANDER, Wyo., July 11 -- The Wyoming Department of Game and Fish issued the following news release:
A series of unlikely events led to the recent conviction of a Dubois man that had killed nearly a dozen rabbits at a well site east of Riverton where the rabbits had become accustomed to human presence. A tip from a citizen set the wheels in motion on this unusual conviction in which the poacher suffered heavy penalties for his actions.
