SAFETY TIPS FOR HOME REPAIR IN TROPICAL STORM-DAMAGED AREAS

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Aug. 24 -- The Florida Division of Emergency Management issued the following news release:

The danger of a storm does not end when it passes. As Florida citizens affected by Tropical Storm Fay return to their homes and begin repairs, the Department of Health suggests taking the following safety precautions to prevent personal injury:

* If possible, work in pairs or groups. Take short breaks and work during the cooler hours of the day.
