WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 -- The U.S. Army issued the following news release:
The Army Scholarship Foundation announced Aug. 15 the award of seven scholarships to children of Soldiers, veterans and spouses of active duty enlisted Soldiers. The foundation was created in 2001.
"We're very proud that we were able to assist Army family members in the pursuit of their education dreams through these scholarship awards," said Jeff Gault, scholarship administrator. . . .
