CICERO, Ill., May 12 -- The town of Cicero issued the following news release:
A 1940 graduate of Morton College left his alma mater farmland nearly 60 miles southwest of Cicero, his former hometown, but college officials are unsure whether or not they'll accept the gift.
Irving J. Vesley, who died Feb. 23 at the age of 88, bequeathed 80 acres of farmland in Wilmington Township, Will County. The terms of Vesley's will requires Morton College to hire a profe . . .
