NORFOLK, Va., Sept. 12 -- The Norfolk Public Schools issued the following press release:
A special thank you is extended to all Norfolk Public School students, parents and staff members who participated in the Sept. 11 Freedom Walk. Record numbers of participants laced up their shoes and marched with the Granby High School Band from Harbor Park to Town Point Park in recognition of the 9/11 victims and our military personnel.
