CAMP PENDLETON, Calif., July 30 -- The U.S. Army issued the following news release:
Hundreds of Army trucks, Humvees and other vehicles have continually rolled through the Pacific surf and onto the beach here over the past week, just as they did more than 60 years ago during the D-Day invasion of Normandy and 50-some years ago during MacArthur's invasion of Inchon, Korea.
The vehicles and their drivers were participating in Joint Logistics Over the Shore, a joi . . .
