JUNEAU, Alaska, July 8 -- Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell of Alaska issued the following report:
Alaska celebrated statehood, freedom and the birth of our nation last weekend during Independence Day celebrations across the Last Frontier. From north to south, Alaska's towns, cities, and villages commemorated life and liberty on the Fourth of July, and we gave thanks for our United States military.
Meanwhile, across the globe, the largest wartime re-enlistment ceremony occ . . .
