JUNEAU, Alaska, July 1 -- Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell of Alaska issued the following report:
Hearts are heavy throughout Alaska today as we mourn the loss of Brigadier General Thomas Tinsley, 3rd Wing Commander at Elmendorf Air Force Base.
"The loss of Brig. Gen. Tinsley brings deep sadness to our community," said Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell today in Anchorage. "My wife, Sandy, and I are praying for his family and friends."
