PROVIDENCE, R.I., Aug. 15 -- The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management issued the following news release:
The Department of Environmental Management announces that test results from all 95 mosquito pools, or samples, from 33 traps set statewide during the week of August 4 are negative for both West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
Throughout the mosquito season, residents are encouraged to protect themselves by eliminating mosquito breeding . . .
