WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Rep. Robert E. 'Bud' Cramer Jr., D-Ala. (5th CD), issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Bud Cramer (Ala.-05) announced today that the House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2009 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Bill. The bill includes $9.1 billion to implement the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), a $1.8 billion increase from 2008.
