PLATTEVILLE, Wis., Sept. 20 -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville issued the following news release:
Police academy students, many who are graduates of criminal justice at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, experienced the duties of a police officer first-hand as they performed traffic stops, broke up fights, and solved civil disputes. These situations were real-life scenarios part of the Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Police Academy, which is held on the UWP cam . . .
