PLATTEVILLE, Wis., Sept. 20 -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville issued the following news release:

Police academy students, many who are graduates of criminal justice at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, experienced the duties of a police officer first-hand as they performed traffic stops, broke up fights, and solved civil disputes.
