ITHACA, N.Y., Aug. 15 -- Tompkins County issued the following press release:
In light of significantly increased local costs, County Administrator Steve Whicher recommends Tompkins County take a hard look next year at how it fulfills the County's mandated responsibility to provide legal services to individuals involved in family and criminal law matters who cannot afford legal representation.
The study could be a first step toward a possible change in program . . .
