KENOSHA, Wis., April 16 -- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside issued the following news release:
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Music Department celebrated the careers of former faculty member Frances Bedford and alumna Marguerite Balazs at a special campus program. During the "Tribute to Music Excellence" concert and reception Sunday, March 30, the university announced a major gift from Professor Bedford to fund a new performance space at the university.
