DECATUR, Miss., Aug. 15 -- East Central Community College issued the following news release:
Ashley Crapps of Philadelphia dropped out of high school because she thought she "knew everything" and school "was not important."
Sherelle Parker of Lawrence, also a high school dropout, thought an education "was not necessary" until she was unable to help her stepson with his homework.
