HOUSE APPROVES FUNDING FOR MILITARY, VETERANS

WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho (2nd CD), issued the following news release:

Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, praised passage of the FY09 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations, HR 6599. The bill contains a record level of funding for programs for America's veterans and military construction projects.
