STUTTGART-VAINGEN, Germany, Aug. 15 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's European Command issued the following press release:
Military forces throughout the U.S. European Command's area of responsibility are actively working to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of the Republic of Georgia.
To date, two U.S. Air Force C-17's have arrived in Tblisi. The first plane arrived Aug. 13, 2008 carrying blankets, cots, sleeping bags and medical suppli . . .
