WASHINGTON, April 14 -- Rep. Joe Neguse, D-Colo., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6484) to "require employers to pay hazard pay to health care employees during public health emergencies, and to provide a tax credit for the cost of such pay." The bill was introduced on April 10 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Kendra Horn, D-Okla. It was jointly referred to the House Ways and Means and Education and Labor committees.
