WASHINGTON, March 30 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Indian Energy announced that it expects to award up to 12 grants for energy technology deployment on tribal lands. The estimated total program funding available was cited as $15 million with a ceiling of $2 million. Eligible Applicants: Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments) and Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized).
