Corps of Engineers to Host Open Office Hours to Answer Questions About Bluestone Dam
HUNTINGTON, West Virginia, Sept. 26 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is holding open office hours for anyone interested in meeting with key representatives from the Bluestone Dam Safety Assurance team and ask questions. The team will be available on Thursday, October 3, 2019, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Resident Engineer Construction Office. NASS - West Virginia Field Office: August Red Meat Production
CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Sept. 26 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - West Virginia Field Office issued the following news release: Commercial red meat production during August 2019 totaled 500,000 pounds, this was down 24 percent from August 2018. Commercial red meat production is the carcass weight after slaughter including beef, veal, pork, lamb and mutton. Individual commodity production is total live weight of commercial slaughter.
