Field Museum to Repatriate Native American Human Remains to Blackfeet Tribe, Montana
WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 (TNSFR) -- The Field Museum, Chicago, Illinois, will repatriate human remains and associated funerary objects to the Blackfeet Tribe of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation of Montana, according to a notice published by the U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service.
The remains represent 45 individuals of Native American ancestry. The 83 associated funerary objects include rings, bracelets and faunal remains.
