No Insider Trading on National Security Act Legislation by Rep. Whitesides Analyzed
WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The No Insider Trading on National Security Act, originally introduced by Rep. George Whitesides, D-California, on August 20, 2026, has been analyzed by the Congressional Research Service. The bill aims to mandate that the Inspector General of the Department of Defense produce a comprehensive report to Congress concerning complaints of insider trading related to prediction and energy markets during Operation Epic Fury.
