National Museum of Health & Medicine Completes NAGPRA Inventory Linked to Alaska Tribal Communities
WASHINGTON, July 3 (TNSFR) -- The National Museum of Health and Medicine, Silver Spring, Maryland, has completed a Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act inventory identifying human remains with cultural affiliation to Alaska Tribal communities. According to a notice published by the U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service, the museum determined the remains represent one individual of Native American ancestry.
