Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin Among Tribes Linked to UW Oshkosh Inventory
WASHINGTON, May 22 (TNSFR) -- The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and funerary objects under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, according to a notice published by the National Park Service.
The university determined that human remains representing at least four individuals and 66 funerary objects are culturally affiliated with dozens of Native American tribes and communities across the U.S.
