EPA Approves Montana Revisions to Western Sugar SO2 Control Requirements
WASHINGTON, May 16 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a final rule approving revisions to the Montana State Implementation Plan involving sulfur dioxide emissions requirements for the Western Sugar Cooperative facility in Billings, Yellowstone County, Montana. The rule was published May 14 in the Federal Register and becomes effective June 15, 2026.
