University of California-Santa Barbara Repository to Repatriate Human Remains, Funerary Objects to Pascua Yaqui Tribe
WASHINGTON, March 4 (TNSFR) -- The University of California Santa Barbara campus repository for archaeological and ethnographic collections is preparing to repatriate Native American human remains and associated funerary objects to the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
According to a notice issued by the National Park Service, the repository has completed an inventory and determined there is a cultural affiliation between the remains
