American University Grant Supports Black Youth Suicide Prevention - Film and 'Fireproof Children' Toolkit to Address Crisis
WASHINGTON, Feb. 25 -- Kenjus Watson, assistant professor in the American University School of Education, received a grant from the university to produce a film and toolkit aimed at preventing Black youth suicide. The funding supports the project, Raising Fireproof Children, which converts academic research into tangible community resources.
