EPA Receives 7 EIS for Jan. 16-26, 2026
WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the receipt of seven environmental impact statements filed from Jan. 16-26, 2026. These filings include proposals for military training, infrastructure updates and habitat conservation.
In Alaska, the U.S. Air Force completed a final statement for proposed mortar and artillery training at the Richardson Training Area within Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Public review for this project concludes on March 2, 2026.
