Museum of the Cherokee People Completes Inventory of Remains Affiliated With Catawba, Cherokee, Muscogee Nations
WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 (TNSFR) -- The Museum of the Cherokee People, North Carolina, has completed a federal inventory identifying a cultural affiliation between an ancestral individual and five tribal nations. The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service published the notice of this completion following an assessment conducted under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
