WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs approved an addendum to the tribal-state gaming compact for the Lower Sioux Community. This decision allows the tribe to expand its gaming operations to include Class III card games on its reservation. The change took effect through an "approval by operation of law" process. Under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the Secretary of the Interior has 45 days to review any tribal-state gaming agreement. Be  more
