Federal Highway Administration: EIS Underway for I-794 Milwaukee Corridor, Freeway Removal Alternative Evaluated
WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 (TNSFR) -- The Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration proceeded with the preparation of an environmental impact statement (EIS) to evaluate potential solutions for the approximately 1.5-mile I-794 corridor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Working with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), the EIS will study improvements for the section between the Marquette Interchange and the Daniel W. Hoan Bridge, including the Lake Interchange.
