WASHINGTON - Yesterday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) introduced the Shutdown Fairness Act to ensure that hardworking Americans are paid during government shutdowns. This legislation would appropriate funds for pay and allowances of excepted federal employees for periods of work performed during a lapse in appropriations, and for other purposes.

Wisconsin Physician Granted DEA Registration After Health Care Fraud, Tax Conviction
WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration has granted a certificate of registration application to Shannon Wagner, a Wisconsin physician, after finding she could be trusted to hold the registration. This decision dismisses an order to dhow cause (OSC) that had proposed denying the application due to her mandatory exclusion from federal health care programs.
The DEA issued the OSC on Aug. 13, 2024, alleging that Wagner was mandatorily excluded
