Upper Valley Wilderness Response Team Calls for Non-Autonomous BVLOS Pathway for Search-and-Rescue Operations 
WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 -- The Upper Valley Wilderness Response Team, Hanover, New Hampshire, has issued a public comment letter to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), urging the agency to establish a streamlined, non-autonomous Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) pathway for Search-and-Rescue (SAR) missions. The organization argues that such a pathway is essential to facilitate timely and effective operations carried out by trained, Part 107-certificated Remote Pilots in Command (rPICs).
