FAA Amends Airspace Over Langley Air Force Base for Part-Time Tower Operations 
WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration is modifying airspace designations over Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, Virginia. The change is being implemented because the base's air traffic control tower will operate on a part-time schedule.
As a result, the FAA is amending Class D airspace and establishing Class E airspace that extends upward from the surface. This action ensures the continued safety and management of instrument flight
