Milwaukee County Commission on Aging Raises Alarm Over Proposed Labor Rule Changes
WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 -- The Milwaukee County Commission on Aging has submitted a public comment letter to the U.S. Department of Labor expressing serious concerns over a proposed rollback of 2013 labor protections for home care workers. The commission argues that these changes would exacerbate the existing care workforce crisis in Wisconsin and could lead to premature institutionalization for residents who wish to receive care in their communities.

OPM Abolishes Hennepin Wage Area
WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 (TNSFR) -- The Office of Personnel Management is abolishing the Hennepin, Minnesota, nonappropriated fund Federal Wage System wage area. The final rule will redefine most of the counties within that area to the nearest nonappropriated fund Federal Wage System wage areas.
