51 Civil Rights & Social Justice Organizations Opposes Department of Energy's Sports Discrimination Rule
WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 -- A coalition of 51 civil rights and social justice organizations has submitted a public comment letter to the U.S. Department of Energy urging the agency to withdraw its direct final rule titled "Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Sports Programs arising out of Federal Financial Assistance." Health Resources & Services Administration Awards Supplemental Funding to Sickle Cell Programs
WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration will provide $1,637,500 in supplemental award funds to 25 recipients of the Sickle Cell Disease Newborn Screening Follow-Up Program.
