DOD: Changes Proposed for Military Appeals Court Rules
WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Defense is inviting public comments on proposed updates to the rules that govern the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. These amendments would revise Rule 22 and Rule 26.
According to a public notice, the changes are being made available for review as a matter of department policy, even though they are exempt from standard notice-and-comment procedures under the Administrative Procedure Act.

FCC Moves to Eliminate Outdated Rules Governing Broadcast Radio, Television
WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Communications Commission is taking action to eliminate a host of rules governing radio and television broadcasters. The move is part of a broad effort to modernize the agency's regulations and clear out outdated provisions.
