WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (TNSoth) -- The Illinois Emergency Management Agency is investigating the disappearance of two fixed gauges containing radioactive material from a closed facility, according to a report filed with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The gauges, containing Americium-241, are believed to have been mistakenly disposed of as scrap in February 2023.
