WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 -- The North Carolina Pork Council, Raleigh, has submitted a public comment letter to the U.S. Department of Agriculture regarding proposed revisions to the National Handbook of Conservation Practices. The changes, particularly focused on the conservation practice standard CPS 359, pertain to waste treatment lagoons integral to animal manure treatment.
