Airspace Adjustments Made at Hickory and Foothills Regional Airports
WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finalized a rule that makes several modifications to the controlled airspace over Hickory and Morganton, North Carolina. These changes, which will be implemented on November 27, 2025, are being made to ensure the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations. At Hickory Regional Airport, the Class D and Class E surface airspaces will both be expanded. The radius will increase from 4.1 miles to 4.6 mi  more
